11/8/2007!! I got rid of the gallery based album, since it was covered in spam. Just went back to an old school display of all the photos and fixed the links to the albums in the guide as well. There is still no sign that an official DVD will be released for the BLS. 9/2/2005 I've been working on creating a better organized photo album site to replace my Apple site. I hope to add all the shots I have, but they are scattered across many different computers, so I have to search through a couple of ones I have not used in a long time and get everything posted. Feel free to post comments and quotes on your favorite pictures there. 6/21/2005 Well, this summer no one will be watching the highly anticipated DVD from The Brendan Leonard Show's cable access years. It seems that the hard drive that contained the many months of work on the DVD project simply went bonkers, and no data could be saved from it, so the project has been cancelled. Too bad there was no backup regimen in place for this project. You can read about it all from Matt Leonard on the forums here. 5/31/2005 Still no sign of the Cable Access Years DVD, hopefully though we will be watching it sometime this summer. A few weeks back, Mike Leonard's update to the popular "Leonard Roadtrip" segments aired on NBC's Today Show. If you missed them, you can view them in my media section. It's also been two whole years now since the BLS first aired, and it's really hard to believe. Summer is coming though, so break out the duct tape and spatulas and remember the BLS! (And what better way to remember then by watching Kung Fu Friday online at Camp Jinx!!!) 3/29/2005 Hello again. There is a new short skit on Camp Jinx, where Brendan explains the lack of new material lately on the site, due to his obsession with an old arcade game, based on the band Journey. I had never heard of this particular game before, but I have found myself playing old arcade games such as this on my computer. Anyways if you want to try your hand at Journey, you can play this with the MAME Emulator program. There are different "ports" of this emulator, my favorite are MAME32 for Windows, and MacMame for OSX. While working on improving the latest Leonard effort at Camp Jinx, I have managed to squeeze in some time to post screen caps from the flash movies on that site. They are located on my Apple photo album site, and boy is that site getting crowded, heh. I'll try to get the next Cold Pizza appearance of Brendan up here, but I have no idea when that is going to air. 08/21/2004 I've hopefully solved the video problems. First I have added some Quicktime versions back, since my webhost has given me more disk space and bandwidth to play with (for free!). Also I have compressed the windows media files into "Zip" files. This means that they need to be unzipped on your computer after they are downloaded. You can use a program like Winzip to do this. If you have any further problems, let me know. 07/09/2004 Hello once again. Things will be heating up as the summer rolls on. I have been helping Picture Show out by lending some of my database skills to the production of the new BLS site. It's been lots of fun so far, and I can't wait until it all comes together and goes live. You should also keep a look out on ESPN2 for Brendan's first appearance on Cold Pizza. This show airs weekdays at 7AM EST. By popular demand, I will try to capture those segments and post them here as they are shown. 05/21/2004 Brendan and Pat were caught on national TV yesterday. Not on a new show or anything, but on Sports Center! They were pretending like they were in San Francisco by rigging up a raft outside of Wrigley Field and paddling along. Here is a quicktime video clip if you missed one of the many, many re-airings on ESPN or your local news: Video Clip 04/21/2004 It's been awhile. So here is what is going on in the BLS world. We are all awaiting the debut of the "internet" version of the show. Also the fan video contest deadline has passed, and eventually we will get to see the top three videos and vote on a winner. Brendan also came on to let us know about the new limited edition Jinx replica hats that were for sale. They went fast obviously and fans are now getting them into their hands. Matt Leonard also just came on today and announced that they were giving away free BLS stickers. Click here for more details on getting a sticker for yourself. That's all for now...Peace. 03/05/2004 Congratulations to Megan & Jamie on the birth of their baby girl (Josephine Ann Fleischel)! Brendan was on the boards last night answering questions when he mentioned he had to leave because he just found out Megan was in labor! Matt posted the news this morning, check the official boards for more info and pictures, Click Here! 02/24/2004 I re-vamped the site and I've moved the site to a new host. It needed to be organized a little better I think, and I hope this version does just that. I also went through the 40 episodes from the ABC Family series and made some small video clips in windows media format. If you have any problems with the site, let me know, thanks! 01/29/2004 Hello again, just a short, sweet update. The Leonard family is hitting the road next month and may be coming to a city near you. I have also been posting all those video pictures and have got the alert emails squared away and working well, so that's all for now! 12/22/2003 I have created a BLS email alert program. This will send you an email when it finds that a cast or crew member is online at the official message boards. I have created a FAQ for the process, located here: FAQ. I have been posting pictures from all the videos, and I also got to help everyone out in the recent Jinx!!! hat contest, by using my page from the "Moments of the Day" to guess Brendan's age in each one. Otherwise I have been enjoying my xmas vacation from work, so everyone have a Happy X-Mas! |
